We are humbly proud to say that, being in project chartering/brokerage since the early 1990’s, we could say that we know most ins/outs of this business, both acting as brokers, as well as taking the role of contractor. During that period we have negotiated and concluded innumerable charterparty contracts, on behalf of clients or under own management, in order for us to realize the importance of all aspects of negotiations, both commercial, technical, legal and not to forget the ‘small words’ in each charterparty contract!
Although our focus has always been on project chartering, also a large number of charterparty contracts for general cargoes (like steelproducts, forestry, cases/crates, …), bulk commodities (like grains, fertilizers, aggregates, …), liquid cargoes (like oils, acids, fuels, etc…) and dangerous (IMO-classed) products, have passed our desk.
Aside of that, we have successfully constructed quite a number of tailor-made contracts towards clients, covering door-to-door transport, highlighting the special needs for each client.
On a few occasions we have acted as consultant to direct our clients in the right way before actually signing a charterparty.
